June Minute for Mission: Outreach Ministries

This month in our Minute for Mission during the Saturday and Sunday services, we will be giving an overview of all of the various opportunities to get involved in St. Paul’s Outreach Ministries. Visit our website to learn more about the work these ministries are doing locally, regionally, and globally. For more information or to volunteer, contact the Rev. Ross Kane at ross@stpaulsalexandria.com.

Theology on Tap

Theology on Tap will meet on Sunday, October 28th.  The Rev, Richard Jones, retired from VTS, lead a discussion on "Pastoral Care for Muslims and Christians:  The Life Cycle."  We will meet at O'Connell's on King Street after the 5 p.m. service. Everyone is welcome.

Join the Intercessor Ministry

With the return to the 11:00 a.m. worship service in a few weeks, we are seeking additional intercessors to offer the Prayers of the People. All that’s needed is a desire to pray for others, a clear speaking voice, and availability to serve at the 11:00 a.m. service from time to time. Please contact Sissy Walker at espwalker@comcast.net if you would like to join the ranks of the Intercessor group. We would love to have you join us!

Please sign up now for the annual parish retreat at Shrine Mont.  There will be ample time for relaxing in the blue ridge mountains, activities for the children, and a thought provoking discussion led by The Rev. Sean Cavanaugh on “Jesus in the Age of Narcissism.”  If you would like to join the planning team, please call Tara Foscato at 202-997-4135 (tarawfoscato@gmail.com) or contact Bill Campbell (bill@stpaulsalexandria.com).  Information  about the cost for the weekend, and registration forms will be made available soon.
